This course is for 18+ This course foregrounds Movement for Industry. You will begin to unlock how to apply movement practice grounded in theory and techniques to practical performance, bridging the gap between practice and industry using potential circumstances and examples. You may encounter: - Your practice, preparing and discovering serious play - Your body, micromovements, habits and character - Other bodies, proximity, contact, and interaction - Discovering movement in text and context - Choreography dance and movement tracks - Stamina and physical training This course is open to anyone who is currently working or in training and will be adapted to suit the curiosities of the room. It will particularly suit those with an existing knowledge of and experience of movement techniques, but this is not necessarily a prerequisite. The course will run every Monday from 26th January to 2nd March 2025 (5pm-8pm) and is designed to be taken as a full course (18 hours). This course will be held in Southwark London. The exact location of the course will be provided to individuals upon completion of booking process.
